Field Wound Care Educator & Clinical Account Liaison (Travel Required)
About the Role
We're looking for a wound care professional with outstanding communication skills to serve as a field educator and trusted clinical resource across our network of partner facilities. In this role, you'll travel facility-to-facility building relationships with nursing leadership, delivering hands-on education on wound prevention and skin/wound staging, and helping clinical teams identify the most current, cost-effective, Medicare-covered products for their residents. This is a relationship-driven, high-visibility role for someone who is equally comfortable in a one-on-one conversation with a Director of Nursing and presenting to a room full of clinical staff.
What You'll Do
Travel within your assigned territory to visit partner facilities on a recurring basis. Build and maintain strong working relationships with Directors of Nursing (DONs) and clinical leadership at each facility. Review wound care products currently in use at each site and identify what's being used on patients. Deliver in-service education to facility staff on wound prevention, skin/wound staging, and best practices in wound care. Where a facility is using a product that isn't Medicare-covered, educate staff on clinically appropriate, covered alternatives — helping ensure care decisions are both clinically sound and cost-conscious. Maintain current, in-depth knowledge of Medicare policy as it relates to wound care products and coverage. Represent the company as a knowledgeable, dependable clinical partner at every facility you visit.
What You Bring
Hands-on wound care experience and strong working knowledge of wound staging, prevention, and product categories. Working knowledge of Medicare coverage policy for wound care/DME products (or the ability to learn it in depth quickly). Outstanding verbal communication skills — clear, confident, and adaptable to different audiences. Genuine empathy and a relationship-first approach with facility staff. Comfort and confidence presenting to groups of healthcare professionals. Willingness and ability to travel extensively within your assigned region. A valid driver's license.
Compensation & Travel
$500 per day worked (flat rate, not commission-based). Field schedule: 3 days per week, 3 weeks per month. Gas, rental car, hotel, and a set daily food allowance provided.
